### Install with the upstream project

This entry is a reference. It has no `apd init` recipe in this catalog snapshot. Follow the [upstream documentation](https://docs.astral.sh/ruff/editors/) for installation and configuration.

A native language server is not an MCP server. To add an installable LSP bridge to your coding agent, explore [Serena](https://m9rco.github.io/awesome-python-dev/tools/serena/) .

### Integration notes

Ruff remains useful as a project CLI dependency. Native LSP command is ruff server; combine with a navigation/type server when needed. The former ruff-lsp wrapper is superseded by the built-in server.
